Antonelli Has Clear Aims For 2011
Andrea Antonelli is one of the most experienced riders in the Superstock 1000 FIM Cup and next year he will be going all-out for the title that is so far missing in his career. A few days ago the 22-year-old from Castiglione del Lago in Italy renewed his agreement with the Honda Lorini team he raced for last year, and with whom his best results were three successive podiums (third at Nurburgring, Silverstone and Brno) as well as a fourth and two sixth places.
"I am quite satisfied with the overall result I achieved in the championship," declared Antonelli. "My commitment with the team was total and efficient. I work for two people, the Lorini brothers, who do this not only as a job but also with their hearts. For next year I have confirmed my commitment to them and I have clear expectations. In the next few months I'll be training hard because I want to achieve my aim of winning the title in 2011, but for the moment I'd just like to give a big thanks to all my sponsors and everyone who has believed in me."
